MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE FINANCE COMMITTEE

FC/01/09-26 Chair’s Welcome
Cllr J. Sieradzki (Acting Chair) welcomed all present to the Finance Committee Meeting and thanked them for attending.
FC/02/09-26 Apologies for Absence
Cllr C. Jude and Cllr C. Naylor with valid reason.
FC/03/09-26 To receive Declarations of Interest in agenda items under the Localism Act 2011 – being pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Members’ Register of Interests.
None received.
FC/04/09-26 To receive and approve the draft minutes of the Finance Committee Meeting held on 7 July 2026.
The minutes of the Finance Committee Meeting held on 7 July 2026 were unanimously approved and signed by the Acting Chair, Cllr J. Sieradzki.
FC/05/09-26 Confirmation that fireworks were cancelled.
Due to the hot weather and dry conditions, the Chapel St Leonards Parish Council decided to cancel the fireworks.
FC/06/09-26 VAT Update
The Clerk stated that the VAT is £1,210 at the moment but the true figure will be available on 30 September 2026.
FC/07/09-26 Chapel St Leonards Webpage Accessibility Quotation
After discussion, the Clerk will research companies for quotations for webpage accessibility.
FC/08/09-26 Citation Annual Health & Safety and Risk Assessment Inspection.
The Clerk informed the Committee Members that the Annual Health & Safety and Risk Assessment Inspection will take place at the Parish Office on the 23 and 30 September 2026.
FC/07/09-26 Date and Time of next Finance Committee Meeting.
