MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE FINANCE COMMITTEE
Held on Tuesday, 14 April 2026 from 10.00am at The Old Coastguard Station, Anderby Road, Chapel St Leonards, PE24 5XA

FC/01/04-26 Chair’s Welcome.
Cllr C. Jude (Chair) welcomed everyone present to the meeting and thanked them for attending.
FC/02/04-26 Apologies for Absence.
None received.
FC/03/04-26 To receive Declarations of Interest in agenda items under the Localism Act 2011 – being pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Members’ Register of Interests.
None received.
FC/04/04-26 To receive and approve the draft minutes of the Finance Committee Meeting held on 17 March 2026.
The minutes of the Finance Committee Meeting held on 17 March 2026 were proposed by Cllr P. Robinson and seconded by Cllr J. Sieradzki approved and signed by the Chair, Cllr C. Jude.
FC/05/04-26 Update on VAT
The Clerk informed everyone that she had presented the VAT figures and was awaiting the VAT refund.
FC/06/04-26 Update on end of year accounts
The Clerk produced the Scribe end of year accounts for the councillors to check.
FC/07/04-26 Update on the AGAR.
The Clerk informed the councillors that the Internal Verifier would be attending the office on Friday, 17 April 2026 to check the accounting system for the AGAR. The Clerk will update them of the outcome.
FC/08/04-26 Date and time of next Finance Committee Meeting.
