MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE FINANCE COMMITTEE

FC/01/07-26 Chair’s Welcome
Cllr C. Jude (Chair) welcomed all present to the Finance Committee Meeting and thanked them for attending.
FC/02/07-26 Apologies for Absence
None received.
FC/03/07-26 To receive Declarations of Interest in agenda items under the Localism Act 2011 – being pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Members’ Register of Interests.
None received.
FC/04/07-26 To receive and approve the draft minutes of the Finance Committee Meeting held on 2 June 2026.
The minutes of the Finance Committee Meeting held on 2 June 2026 were proposed by Cllr C. Briggs and seconded by Cllr C. Naylor approved and signed by the Chair, Cllr C. Jude.
FC/05/07-26 Update on Loan Agreement for CSL Village Hall
There was a discussion on the loan agreement for the village hall. Chapel St Leonards Parish Council are currently awaiting approval from the Charity Commission.
FC/06/07-26 VAT Update
The Clerk stated that she had completed and sent the VAT of £1.937.50 and this would be transferred into the Chapel St Leonards Parish Council’s bank account in 3 to 5 days.
FC/07/07-26 Discussion on cost increases.
The Chairman stated that there will be cost increases in Spring 2027.
FC/08/07-26 Date and time of next Finance Committee Meeting.
