MINUTES OF THE FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING
Held on Thursday, 27 February 2025 at 9.15am at the
Church Hall, Church Lane, Chapel St Leonards.
Present: Cllr C. Jude (Chair), Cllr B. Holmes. Cllr P. Robinson and Cllr S. Whitmore.
In attendance: Cllr C. Briggs
Absent: Cllr G. Ward
Assistant Parish Clerk: Mrs. V.A. Worley
FC/01/02-25 Chair’s welcome.
Cllr C. Jude welcomed everyone to the meeting and thanked them for attending.
FC/02/02-25 Apologies for absence.
Cllr G. Ward for valid reason.
FC/03/02-25 Declaration of pecuniary interests not already registered and to consider any dispensation.
None received.
FC/04/02-25 To receive as minutes the record of the Finance Committee Meeting held on 22 January 2025.
The Minutes of the Finance Committee Meeting was unanimously approved and signed by Cllr C. Jude (Chair).
FC/05/02-25 How BACS run is progressing.
The BACS run is progressing well. Cllr S. Whitmore is assisting with the BACS Form for the Assistant Parish Clerk to submit on Scribe. It was RESOLVED to carry this out fortnightly instead of weekly.
FC/06/02-25 Invoice Hunt.
Cllr S. Whitmore has been working hard to achieve this task. Invoices are up to date and the Assistant Parish Clerk is submitting amounts to Scribe.
FC/07/02-25 Cost Centres
Cllr S. Whitmore has listed the correct Cost Centres for the Assistant Parish Clerk to amend on Scribe and submit the BACS run to Scribe.
FC/08/02-25 Payroll
It was agreed that all staff are salaried.
FC/09/02-25 Finance and Personnel Committees working together
Cllr C. Jude and Cllr D. Wilson agree the salaries and payments each month.
FC/10/02-25 Grass cutting refund to Church.
The church has been refunded.
FC/11/02-25 Date and time of next Finance Committee Meeting.
The next Finance Committee meeting will be held on 27 March 2025 at 9.15am.
