MINUTES OF THE ENVIRONMENT AND AMENITIES
COMMITTEE MEETING

EA/01/05-26 To Elect a Chair of the Environment and Amenities Committee
Cllr C. Briggs proposed and Cllr C. Naylor seconded that Cllr C. Jude become Chair of the Environment and Amenities Committee.
EA/02/05-26 Apologies for Absence.
None given.
EA/03/05-26 To receive Declarations of Interest in agenda items under the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Members’ Register of Interests.
Cllr C. Jude declared an interest regarding his association with Matt Hodson of Alford.
EA/04/05-26 To receive and approve the draft minutes of the Environment and Amenities Committee Meeting held on 17 March 2026.
The minutes of the Environment and Amenities Committee Meeting held on 14 April 2026 were unanimously approved and signed by the Chairman, Cllr C. Jude.
EA/05/05-26 Update on works on Amphitheatre.
The work on the amphitheatre is progressing well. The fencing is now completed and the painting will be finished soon.
EA/06/05-26 Container – Potential Plant
There was a discussion regarding the purchase of a sit and ride mower. The Chair, Cllr C. Jude suggested a meeting with the grass cutting contractor.
EA/07/05-26 Date and time of next meeting.
