AC6/01-24 To discuss the Council’s policy regarding vehicles on the Green

The committee noted that vehicles were not allowed on the Green and a question was raised about the Little Stage, it was confirmed that this was an un-axled vehicle that was pushed- not driven- onto the grass. The Deputy will create a specific Terms & Conditions for the Green hire, inclusive of the proviso that individuals and/or organisations that hire the Green must carry their own insurance.

The Chair advised that the existing CPO is still open and ELDC is looking at the specifics and to make a site visit. Items on the frontage have spread over the pavement and verge and to the kerb; this needs removing.
