MINUTES OF THE ENVIRONMENT AND AMENITIES COMMITTEE MEETING
Held on Thursday, 11th September 2025 from 9.00am at the Church Hall, Church Lane, Chapel St Leonards, PE25 5UJ

EA/01/09-25 Chair’s Welcome.
Cllr P. Robinson (Chair) welcomed all present to the meeting and thanked them for attending.
EA/02/09-25 Apologies for Absence.
None received.
EA/03/09-25 To receive Declarations of Interest in agenda items under the Localism Act 2011 – being any Pecuniary Interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Members’ Register of Interests.
None received.
EA/04/09-25 To receive and approve the draft minutes of the Environment and Amenities Committee Meeting held on 31 July 2025.
The minutes of the Environment and Amenities Committee meeting held on 31st July 2025 were unanimously approved and signed by the Chair, Cllr P. Robinson.
EA/05/09-25 Alarm System for Office Update.
The Clerk stated that Protec the CCTV Company had visited the office and moved the alarm system for easier access for the staff.
EA/06/09-25 New Car Parking Signage Update.
Clerk to contact Wise Parking for an update.
EA/07/09-25 Access Step to Neat Feet Premises.
Clerk to contact ELDC Disability Officer – Occupational Therapist for approved contractors and to get advice on how to improve the step leading into Neat Feat and make safe for customers.
EA/08/09-25 Renovation Work in Village Update.
The benches have arrived. Cllr C. Jude suggested a foldaway bench for the Pullover.
EA/08/09-25 Request of use of Trunch Lane Car Park by Local Business.
There Is a request from a local company to use Trunch Lane Car Park while construction work can be carried out from October 2025 to March 2026.
EA/09/09-25 Date and Time of Next Environment and Amenities Meeting.
The next meeting will be held on 2nd October 2025 at 9.00am.
