Before the meeting began the chairman welcomed mr j daws who has been co opted onto the council, and has signed his acceptance of office in front of the clerk

Cllr Keeffe, this absence was formally approved, having considered and accepted the reason for absence

The Finance committee recommended a precept of £103669.00 which is a reduction to the precept of -13.69%

d) Donation to volunteer resident – Cllr Hibbert-Greaves

Cllr Mrs Hamilton declared an interest

It was proposed by Cllr Evans, seconded by Cllr Yaxley and unanimously agreed that a donation of £1500 be Made to Orby Vets (the resident’s choice) in recognition of the voluntary work carried out during the long-term sickness of one of the staff

 

18/146 Clerks Report

a) Staffing – Now full strength, including taking on a handyman

b) Receipt & Installation of bins – most of the bins have now been delivered, and are being placed

c) Chapel Point Toilets refurbishment almost complete

d) Repairs to Benches – Now underway

e) Fly tipping Problems all over Chapel St Leonards – residents were asked to report information direct to East Lindsey

f) Chapel Point update – There was an unsuccessful attempt to break into the Parking meter, the Police have been informed and arrangements are underway to repair the meter

g) Nominations to attend the Garden Party at Buckingham Palace sent to Councillors before the meeting

It was unanimously agreed that the Council Nominate Cllr Turton Leivers for his past service
