The formal opening of the Coastal path will take place on the 27th February, there will also be
another police panel meeting in the Autumn

The Parish Council were not successful in their recommendation for a visit to the garden party
It was proposed by Cllr Daws, seconded by Cllr Sands that Mr Naughton should be recommended for a long service award
It was also proposed by Cllr Daws, seconded by Cllr Hibbert-Greaves that the Clerk should be recommended for Clerk of the year
These proposals were both agreed unanimously

18/162 Reports From Outside Bodies
a) ELDC – advised that an Environmental Crime Officer has been appointed, responsible for
Fly tipping, littering, and the Public Space Protection Orders
b) CCTV – Cllrs Ison & Evans attended the last meeting. They were advised that there are problems siting the 3rd camera on the pullover, it will therefore be looked again to site it at the NSO
The Council was also advised that as of the 1st April 2019 the Parish will be responsible for insuring the cameras.
It was felt that to use one of the cameras to monitor the beach & the tides at the point was not acceptable, when there is a great need for a camera at the pullover – the Clerk will advise ELDC accordingly.
Concerns were also raised that the cameras in the village were not rotating, Cllr Ison confirmed that he would look into this matter
