CHAPEL ST LEONARDS COUNCIL

                             MINUTES OF THE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING

7 pm on the 10th August 2020, held by way of a Virtual Zoom meeting

   The Parking problem on the Coast Road, were discussed, Cllr Hibbert-Greaves assured

   residents that the Parish Council have reported these problems, he also advised that the

   Council has recently seen Traffic Wardens on Patrol in the area

             These absences were formally approved, by vote, having considered and accepted the reason for absence

                Proposed Cllr Hibbert-Greaves, seconded Cllr Yaxley & unanimously agreed that these

             minutes should be signed

 

19/183 To receive the Schedules of accounts for 1st  July to 31st July 2020   which have been checked

                by Cllr Mrs King a member of the Finance Committee

            The accounts had been sent out to all Councillors before the meeting, there were no questions

19/184 Report from LCC & ELDC Councillors

             LCC – Not present

             ELDC Cllr Hibbert-Greaves reported on the effect that the mass influx of visitors is having

             on East Lindsey District Councils services. He also reported that ELDC do not yet know of

             the outcome on whether the caravan sites will extend their season this year

19/186 To Ratify the following decisions made between meetings via email

            a)  It was agreed to reopen the playpark, and to accept the offer from a resident to close the

            playpark in the evening

19/187 Christmas Light Switch on

             Due to the continued COVID 19 situation, and the government guidelines it was

             proposed by Cllr Hibbert-Greaves, seconded by Cllr Yaxley that The Christmas Tree would

             be erected, and the lights switched on, however there would be no entertainment.

             Unanimously agreed                                                             

 

19/188 Meetings at the Village Hall – Risk Assessment sent to all Councillors before the meeting

             It was proposed by Cllr Hibbert-Greaves, seconded by Cllr Mrs King and unanimously agreed,

             That the Parish Council Meetings should still be held by Zoom

             This decision will be reviewed at each meeting

 

19/189 Agenda Items for the next Meeting should be sent to the Clerk, to ensure they are discussed
