Minutes Of The Parish Council Meeting

The meeting began with a public participation session

 

The following comments from residents were noted

a) Concerns over the costs of the public conveniences – a meeting of the Finance Committee has been arranged for February 20th to discuss the costs, all residents are welcome to attend

b) Concerns were raised over the ongoing vandalism to benches

c) A resident questioned why East Lindsey have not taken any further action concerning Merryfield flats – this is being dealt with by enforcement, and no further details are available

d) A resident questioned why his request for bins to be placed on Skegness Road has not been actioned – the Council will chase

Proposed Cllr Yaxley, seconded Cllr Turton- Leivers and unanimously agreed that these notes should be signed as minutes

 

19/128 To Receive The Schedule Of Accounts For 1st January To 31st January Which Have Been Checked By Cllr Mrs King Member Of The Finance Committee

19/129 Report From LCC & ELDC Councillors

LCC – Not Present

ELDC – Cllr Hibbert-Greaves had nothing to report

 

19/130 Chairman’s Announcements

Cllr Hibbert-Greaves advised that with regard to the development of the Hub at Chapel

An appointment with the Architect has been made.

Cllr Hibbert Greaves also read out a card from a resident thanking the Staff for clearing the sand

 

19/131 Clerk’s Report

a) Council contacts – details of who to contact within ELDC& LCC

This document was handed out to Councillors & residents, placed on the notice board,and the website

b) Yellow lines in the Village Report Reference 4139450 The Clerk has chased Highways for a date to discuss this this matter

c) CCTV Service Level Agreement – The Clerk has advised ELDC that as the District Council is in breach of the agreement the Parish Council will not be signing the agreement

Cllr Mrs Baker will be attending the next CCTV meeting on 13th February, and will discuss the matter at the meeting

d) Social Media Update

The Clerk updated everyone on the comments made on Social media, and advised that each month there will be a report circulated, and placed on the web-site
