19/68 Report From LCC & ELDC Councillors

LCC – Not Present, however wished it to be announced that there will be an announcement concerning Coastal Investment in October

ELDC – Skegness are to receive further funding, Cllr Hibbert-Greaves confirmed that he would be pushing for investment in Chapel St Leonards. There are concerns over the facilities at the Doctors – there are funds available, not Doctors have not taken them up

 

19/69 Chairman’s Announcements.

Thanks to the Carnival committee for their efforts, and for support received for the Music Festival – the Parish Council would like to encourage the local businesses to get involved in these events

Request from a new business to display a banner – donation offered

Discussed It was unanimously agreed that the banner facility was not available to businesses – however the planters can be offered – Clerk will advise accordingly

 

19/74 Speed Watch – Details Sent To Councillors Before The Meeting

Discussed – It was agreed to advertise for volunteers for operating a speed gun

CCTV meeting at Boston – if more cameras are fitted then they would require more staff

Confirmation received that the post for the 3rd Chapel camera has been ordered
