MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE 
ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE

AC1/07-23 Chair’s Welcome
AC2/07-23 Apologies for absence
Apologies were received and accepted from Cllrs Hamilton and Jude. Cllr Seabrooke left the meeting at 11:08am.
AC3/07-23 Declarations of Interest

AC4/07-23 To resolve as minutes the record of the meeting on 12 June 2023
 
RESOLVED and signed by the Chair
 
AC5/07-23 Update on the Hub Building
 
Following a resolution at the 10.07.23 Full Council meeting, the Hub will be converted to a space for use by the Operatives, leaving the Point office to convert to a conference room. Work will be undertaken as and when operatives were available over the next several months. 
 
AC6/07-23 Update on Ancaster Office tenancy
 
The business has opened and appears to be doing very well. The Deputy Clerk was tasked with moving the tenant’s £500 deposit to the Deposit Protection Scheme as soon as possible. 
 
AC7/07-23 Update on Lincoln planters and fittings
 
As the Handyman had not yet actioned this, it was tabled as a Winter project. 
 
AC8/07-23 Update regarding ELDC maintained verges
 
The Deputy Clerk advised that ELDC only cut two areas of the village: Well Vale Car Park and the area around the bus station/Ancaster office. The council RESOLVED to have the Deputy Clerk write to ELDC regarding the transfer of the land surrounding the Ancaster office to the PC in addition to the PC taking on the grass cutting duties in the future. 
 
AC9/07-23 Chapel Enhancement Project
 
Resolved at 10.07.23 Council meeting to apply for up to £5000 in grants from the East Coast Wind Farm fund, this will be for maintaining and upgrading existing playground equipment. Future grant requests to focus in addition of workout equipment to the recreation field. 
 
AC10/07-23 Doug Fouling Stencil
 
The Proper Officer advised that the new stencil and paint were in house and this was tasked for the handyman in the week commencing 17.07.23.
 
AC11/07-23 To resolve the date of the next Administration Committee meeting
 
Resolved as Tuesday 26th September at 10am.
 
Having concluded the agenda, the meeting was adjourned at 11:16am
