MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE ENVIRONMENT & AMENITIES COMMITTEE

3. Chalets
a) General Repair of Chalets
Discussed and agreed that the E & A committee will make arrangements to check all the Chalets
in March, so that requests for maintenance can be sent out with the annual invoices.
In the meantime, the Clerk take advice on the action the council can take on the chalets that have not been built in accordance with the new regulations.
b) To build 2 new Bases – by the side of no 26
It was unanimously agreed that the Clerk should arrange for 2 new bases to be built by the side of
Plot 26.
c) Rent Charges
It was unanimously greed to set the base rent to £300 including VAT for the new season.
4. Playpark – removal of the swing frame
It was unanimously agreed that the swing frame which is not in use should be removed.
5. Village Amenities cutting, grass verge cutting and footpath cutting
To discuss arrangements for the contracts to go out to tender
Footpaths – no alterations to the schedule
Grass cutting – Verges increase from 4 to 7 cuts
Grass area on the beach reduce from 10 cuts to 7
Grass area at Chapel Point to remove from contract, and cutting to be carried
out by the Parish Council Staff
These amendments were unanimously agreed, the Clerk will now send the contracts out to tender.
