Minutes Of The Meeting Of The Environment & Amenities Committee

 

Tuesday 23rd July at 10.30

1. Apologies For Absence

2. Declarations Of Interest

None

 

3. To Appoint A Chairman & Vice Chairman

Cllr Mrs Hamilton proposed Cllr Barr seconded by Cllr Turton Leivers and unanimously agreed

Cllr Barrs accepted the post

Cllr Barrs proposed Cllr Mrs Hamilton as Vice Chairman, seconded by Cllr Turton-Leivers and unanimously agreed

Cllr Mrs Hamilton accepted the post

 

4. The Way Forward With The Old Café Chapel Pont

The business rates on the café have been paid for the year, and together with utility bills the cost is estimated to be £5500.00 this financial year.

Various suggestions were made as to its use, but it was agreed that the residents of Chapel St Leonards should be consulted

Proposed Cllr Barrs, seconded Cllr Mrs Hamilton and unanimously agreed

Cllr Evans handed over a draft questionnaire to send out to all residents, and it was agreed that the questionnaire should used together with a cover letter. The Clerk investigate mail shots.
