CC5/03-23 To consider row and plot marker suppliers independent of the quote received in 2021 (and updated to 2023)

Having reviewed the earlier quotes, the committee requests that the deputy clerk bring a total amount to the next meeting to allow marking of the plots using survey markers and the rows using stone markers. The deputy clerk was also asked to draft a letter to the Church Council asking that they apply to close their churchyard by order; this will eliminate the current grey area facing the Parish Council regarding the upkeep of the Churchyard. This draft will also be brought to the next meeting.

The deputy clerk advised the committee that additional groundwater testing maybe required in the cemetery based on upcoming legislation revision. She will keep the committee apprised on the situation.
