MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE FINANCE COMMITTEE

FC1/01-23 Elect the Chair of the Finance Committee for the Year 23/24
Cllr Ron Christie-Smith was elected as Chair of the Finance Committee for the Year 23/23, proposed by Cllr S Whitmore, seconded by Cllr C Jude, and voted unanimously.
FC2/02-23 Apologies for Absence

FC3/03-23 Declarations of Interest
None
FC4/04-23 Minutes to Approve
Minutes of 21 April 2023 were approved with minor amendments and signed by the Chair.
FC5/05-23 June 2023 Payroll to Approve
It was RESOLVED to approve the June payroll.
FC6/06-23 To receive online bank statement to date and authorise income and expenditure as a true and accurate record.
It was RESOLVED to approve the bank statement income and expenditure as a true and accurate record.
The Chair reported as of 18:00 on Monday 11 July 2023 the bank accounts were:
£16,261.41 – Current Account
£81,837.95 – Saver Account
FC7/07-23 To clarify each member understands the need for confidentiality and their roles and boundaries.
Each member of the Finance Committee understood their role and pledged to respect the need for confidentiality within the boundaries of the Finance Committee.
FC8/08-23 Date of next Finance Committee Meeting
It was RESOLVED that the next Finance Committee Meeting would be held on Tuesday 05 September 2023, commencing at 10:00am, Chapel St Leonards Church Hall, Church Lane, PE24 5QW.
Business on the agenda was complete and the meeting was closed at 10:55am.
