                             MINUTES OF THE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING

        7 pm on the 12th April 2021, held by way of a Virtual Zoom Meeting

The Council began with 1 minute’s silence in recognition of the passing of Prince Philip.

The Chairman welcomed everyone present and introduced David Fenton who has been

co-opted onto the Council, he has signed his acceptance of office in front of the Clerk.

He also reported on the retirement of one of the Operatives, and the employment of new staff.

21/003 to receive the notes of the meeting of the Council held on 8th March 2021.

              Proposed by Cllr Hibbert-Greaves, seconded by Cllr Yaxley & unanimously agreed that the

              minutes should be signed.

 

21/004 To receive the Schedules of accounts for 1st to 31st March 2021 which had been checked by Cllr

                  Mrs King a member of the Finance Committee.

              Unanimously agreed that these accounts should be accepted.

              a) To Ratify the following payments

              Glasdon (Bench) £1118.76 inc £186.46 reclaimable VAT

              3 D Parking New machine £8376.00 inc 1168.57 reclaimable VAT

              ELDC (CCTV) £1575.81

              b) To discuss end of years figures, which had been sent out to all Councillors before the meeting, there

              were no questions

 

21/005 Correspondence Received – Sent to Councillors before the meeting

              Letter from Cllr Davie concerning the Coastal Access sites and Parking.

21/006 Report from LCC & ELDC Councillors 

              LCC - Cllr Davie has checked the highways work on Anderby Road, and is not happy with it, he will be

              asking Highways to return.

              ELDC – Cllr Hibbert-Greaves reported on Care for the Coast and Countryside Community

21/007 To Discuss Government Guidelines concerning arrangements for future Parish Council Meetings.

           It was agreed that, providing that the Village Hall opens after June 21st, the Council will begin to hold

           face to face meetings, in July.  In the meantime, the Annual Parish Council Meeting will be held via zoom

           in early May and no meeting will take place in June.  Business will continue under the Clerk’s

          delegated powers.
