You are hereby summoned to attend Chapel St Leonards Parish Council Meeting which will be held on Monday 13th June 2022 commencing at 7.00pm at the Chapel St Leonards Village Hall, 28 Sea Road, PE24 5SA.   If you cannot attend please inform me of your absence and the reason.

Chairman’s welcome

There will be a 15-minute maximum Public Participation Session at this meeting.  Members of the public may have up to 3 minutes each to raise issues.

Members of the public may not speak or interject during the parish council meeting once it starts unless permission is granted by the Chair and by resolution of the parish council.

  3. To appoint the Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer and to approve support arrangements while training is being undertaken.
  4. To receive and approve the draft minutes of the Parish Council meetings held on 16th May 2022.
  5. To receive and approve the draft minutes of Staffing Committee 5th May 2022.
  6. To consider applications for co-option and approval to the parish council, if appropriate, and to sign the Declaration of Acceptance of Office for the newly co-opted councillors.

7.  Finance

a) to authorise payments on the payments schedule

b) to receive an update on the bank mandate

9. To adopt the Public Space Protection Order 2021 and to delegate to The Clerk in accordance with Section 101 Local Government Act 1972 the appointment and authorisation in writing of Parish Council staff to act as ‘Authorised Persons’.

10. To consider the request for a grant and, if appropriate, approve a grant to the Chapel St Leonards Village Hall charity for the refurbishment of the kitchen.

11. To consider and approve the arrangements for the Family Festival 27/28th August 2022.

12. To consider proposals for the cleaning of public toilets in the parish and prices to be charged to the public for using them and other options.

13. To consider planning applications as a statutory consultee and to note Planning Authority decisions
