Chairman’s welcome

There will be a 15-minute maximum Public Participation Session at this meeting.  Members of the public may have up to 3 minutes each to raise issues.

Members of the public may not speak or interject during the parish council meeting unless permission is granted by the Chair and by resolution of the parish council.

Agenda

1. Apologies for Absence.

2. Declarations of Pecuniary Interests not already registered and to consider any dispensations.

3. To confirm the election of the Chair of the Parish Council

4. To confirm the appointment of the Acting Clerk and Acting Responsible Financial Officer.

5. To receive and approve the draft minutes of the Parish Council meetings held on 11th April 2022 and 22nd April 2022.

6. To consider any applications for co-option as a parish councillor

6. Any Correspondence received – sent to Councillors before the meeting or received prior to the meeting,

7. Dates

16th May - Annual Parish Council Meeting - all agenda requests must be sent to the Acting Clerk in accordance with Standing Orders.

23rd May - Annual Parish Meeting

9. Finance

To resolve to exclude the public and media to discuss confidential items relating to individuals and confidential financial matters in accordance with The Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960

a) To authorise changes to the bank mandate.

b) To discuss and approve arrangements for authorising and making employee payments.

c) To approve rates of pay for employees.

10. To consider and approve the recruitment process of a Parish Clerk and Deputy Parish Clerk, dates and venues for shortlisting, interviews and draft employment contract and terms.

11. To consider advice from solicitor regarding the cemetery.
