MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE CEMETERY COMMITTEE

Wednesday 06 March 2024 1:30pm, at the

CC03/12-24 Declarations of Interest

CC04/13-24 To resolve as minutes the record of the meeting on 23 January 2024

 

The minutes were RESOLVED and signed by the Chair.

 

CC05/14-24 To discuss repair and cleaning of the existing footpath with the PCC.

 

The committee RESOLVED to have the path and superficial repairs undertaken by CSL Parish Council, in-house staff with a 50% each way invoice for work(s) completed. It was further RESOLVE that there was no need to clean the paths as it is the falling leaves that make them slippy, otherwise, they are safe to walk on. The Parish Council agreed that the Yew tree could be trimmed by the PCC work person.

 

CC06/15-24 Updates on signs for cemetery markings

 

Brass floor plates that denote rows and numbers in the cemetery ground had been ordered by the deputy clerk, the Clerk will check in the progress of the order and report back at the next meeting.

 

CC07/16-24 To resolve the date of the next meeting.

 

Resolved as Thursday 18 April at 11:00am

The new date for the Cemetery Inspection (weather permitting) is Thursday 21 March from 10:00am.

 

There being no other business, the meeting was closed at 1:45pm.
