NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, and Members are summoned to attend a Chapel St Leonards Parish Council Meeting which will be held on Monday 13 March commencing at 7.00pm at the Chapel St Leonards Village Hall, Sea Road, PE24 5SA. If you cannot attend, please inform me of your absence and the reason.

Chair’s Welcome

There will be a 15-minute maximum Public Participation Session at this meeting. Members of the public may have up to 3 minutes each to raise issues. Members of the public may not speak of interject during the Parish Council Meeting once it starts unless permission is granted by the Chair and by resolution of the Parish Council. The Chair will invite County and District Councillors to make a statement or bring items to the attention of the Parish Council prior to the start of the formal agenda.

1. Apologies for Absence

To receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the Town Clerk prior to the meeting.

2. To receive declarations of interest under the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Members’ Register of Interests

3. To receive and approve the draft minutes of the Parish Council meeting held on 13 February 2023.

4. Cemetery Committee – to receive notes of the meetings and to consider any recommendations.

5. Environment & Amenities Committee - to receive notes of the meetings and to consider any recommendations.

6. Events Committee – to receive an update following the meeting on 06 March 2023.

7. Finance Committee – to receive notes of the meeting of 06 March 2023.

8. Coronation – update to include street parties.

a. To authorise the signing of orders for payment and note the income for March 2023.

9. Elections Update – to confirm the date of the Elections Information Session on Wednesday 15 March 2-4pm, public invited.

10. Councillor Surgery Update – Update from the last surgery. To propose meetings be held at the Village Hall on a weekday with an informal theme of a chat with a councillor.

Erection of a welfare building and site plant and dry store within a fenced compound. Amendments. Comments due 06/03/2023, extension given for CSL Parish Council.

N/031/01891/22 LAND ADJACENT MILLERS LEISURE CENTRE, THE ESPLANADE, CHAPEL ST LEONARDS – Planning Permission – Change of use of the land for the siting of 11no.chalets – CSL Parish Council raised concerns and objected due to concerns over the entrance to Sandy Lane and pedestrian use at the approach to the Esplanade. Update only.

N/031/00061/23 3 SOUTH ROAD, CHAPEL ST LEONARDS. SKEGNESS PE24 – Planning Permission – Rear single storey extension to the existing dwelling to provide additional living accommodation, existing outbuilding to be demolished. Update only.
