MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE STAFFING COMMITTEE

SC1/22. Apologies for absence

            Cllr Dalton, Christie-Smith with reasons given and RESOLVED to approve absence

SC2/22.Declarations of interest

               None

SC3/22. Election of Chair

               Cllr Robinson was proposed and seconded and approved RESOLVED Cllr Robinson is elected Chair of the Staffing Committee

SC4/22.Terms of Reference

               Cllrs proposed, seconded and approved RESOLVED to adopt the Terms of Reference for the Staffing Committee.

SC5/22.Exclusion of public

             Cllrs proposed, seconded and approved RESOLVED to exclude the media and public in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 due to the confidential nature of the business to be considered.

SC6/22.Clerk & RFO and Deputy clerk jobs

                  Cllrs proposed, seconded and approved RESOLVED to adopt the job description, person specification, employment contract and NJC Scale Point 24 (LC2) for the Clerk/RFO and NJC Scale Point 18 (LC2) for the Deputy Clerk positions both subject to job evaluation through HR advisor.

SC7/22.Recruitment Arrangements

                Cllrs proposed, seconded and approved RESOLVED to advertise both roles with the approved details and agreed dates for applications and interviews.
