MINUTES OF THE PERSONNEL COMMITTEE

PC3/12-23 To receive and approve the draft minutes of the Personnel Committee held on 09 January 2023
The minutes of the meeting held on 09 January 2023 were APPROVED as a true and accurate record.
PC3/09-23 To resolve to move into closed session in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 due to the confidential nature of the business to be discussed in relation to the following matters: -
To consider urgent administrative and staffing issues.
a) To consider Proper Officer’s hours of work.
It was RESOLVED to increase the Proper Officer’s hours of work from 20 hours per week to 25 hours per week from 01 June 2023, after full approval at Parish Council Meeting on 15 May 2023.
b) To consider any urgent staffing issues.
There were no urgent staffing issues to discuss.
c) To resolve to advertise a new role.
It was RESOLVED to advertise for a cleaner for Ancaster Road toilets, advertisement 24-28 April 2023 and interview dates from 30 April 2023.
d) To receive the summer hours for the Office.
It was RESOLVED to agree the summer hours for the Office.
It was further RESOLVED to pay the Deputy Clerk 2 hours extra pay as overtime per month from 01 May-01 November 2023.
All items on the agenda were concluded and the meeting closed at 11:15am.
