You are hereby summoned to attend Chapel St Leonards Parish Council Staffing Committee which will be held on Thursday 5th May 2022 commencing at 2.30pm at the Parish Office, The Old Coastguard Station. If you cannot attend please inform me of your absence and the reason.

There will be a 15-minute maximum period Public Participation Session at this meeting. Members of the public may have up to 3 minutes each to raise issues relating to this agenda. In the event that this session takes less time than the period allowed the committee meeting will begin forthwith.
Members of the public may not speak or interject during the Committee meeting unless permission is granted by the Chair and by resolution of the Committee.
Agenda
1. Apologies for Absence.
2. Declarations of Pecuniary Interests not already registered and to consider any dispensations.
3. To elect the Chair of the Staffing Committee
4. To review the Terms of Reference of the Staffing Committee.
5. To consider the exclusion of the public and press in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 s1(2) due to the confidential nature of the items to be discussed.
6. To consider the current office staffing arrangements, job descriptions, person specifications, salaries, employment contract and to decide any changes needed for the roles of Parish Clerk/RFO and Deputy Clerk for the future appointments including advice provided by the HR advisor.
7. To consider and approve the recruitment process of a Parish Clerk and Deputy Clerk, dates, venues for shortlisting, interviews and other arrangements.
