NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, and Members are summoned to attend a Chapel St Leonards Personnel Committee Meeting which will be held on Thursday 23 November 2023 commencing at 10.00am at Chapel St Leonards Church Hall, Church Lane, PE24 5QW. If you cannot attend, please inform me of your absence and the reason.

  1. To Elect a Chair for the Personnel Committee for the municipal year 2023/24.

  2. Apologies for Absence

To receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the Parish Clerk prior to the meeting.

  1. To receive declarations of interest under the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Members’ Register of Interests

  2. To resolve to move into closed session in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 due to the confidential nature of the business to be discussed in relation to the following matters: -


 

  1. Office hours.

  2. Clerk and Deputy Clerk hours for Winter.

  3. To RESOLVE to acknowledge the NJC Salary increase.

  4. To receive and RESOLVE the gardener’s hours and start time in the coming year.

  5. To note the Clerk’s yearly appraisal.

  6. To discuss and RESOLVE study leave for the Clerk.

  7. To note when the Clerk will carry out staff appraisal for the operatives.

  8. To RESOLVE to pay the Clerk and Deputy Clerk increments.

  9. To discuss in-house extra work for operatives.

  10. To discuss staff/operative training.

  11. To discuss confidential items relating to staff.
