EA/01/10-26 Chair’s Welcome
The Chair, Cllr C. Jude welcomed all present to the meeting and thanked them for attending.
EA/02/10-26 Apologies for Absence.
Cllr C. Naylor and Cllr J. Sieradzki with valid reason.
EA/03/10-26 To receive Declarations of Interest in agenda items under the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Members’ Register of Interests.
None received.
EA/04/10-26 To receive and approve the draft minutes of the Environment and Amenities Committee Meeting held on 8 September 2026.
The minutes of the Environment and Amenities Committee Meeting held on 8 September 2026 were unanimously approved and signed by the Chair, Cllr C. Jude.
EA/05/10-26 Update on Standpipe for Chalets
The Clerk will arrange a plumber to connect the water.
EA/06/10-26 Signage for Prohibiting Overnight Camping on the Beach – Update.
The Clerk has ordered five signs for the seafront prohibiting overnight camping on the beach.
EA/07/10-26 Health & Safety and Risk Assessment Inspection – Update.
The inspection went well and Chapel St Leonards Parish Council improved by eleven points from the last inspection. The Clerk purchased a COSH cabinet and stickers for dangerous substances and there will be chainsaw training for the Handyman.
